Editorial Standards

Writing about the families and partners of famous people comes with extra responsibility, because many of them never asked to be famous. These are the rules we follow on every page of WhoTheyAre.

Our sources

  1. Statements and interviews from the people themselves
  2. Official announcements, such as engagement or wedding posts shared by the couple
  3. Established newspapers, magazines and broadcasters
  4. Public records such as award lists, team rosters and film credits

Privacy rules

  • We never write profiles of children under 18
  • We never publish addresses, phone numbers or private contact details
  • We do not speculate about pregnancies, health or breakups
  • We only name relatives who are public figures or have spoken publicly

Updates

Relationships change. When a couple announces an engagement, a wedding or a separation, we update the relevant profiles and the date at the top of the page.

Corrections
